Pure wool

More than 100 islands make up the Shetlands archipelago that lies about 100 miles north of Scotland. The hardy Shetland sheep has long been a mainstay of the Shetland tradition, not least because its silky wool has been a protection against the harsh, windswept winters. This combination of softness and hard-wearing warmth makes a pure wool throw a firm favourite.
